The pocket sized Sniff-It 2 provides a safe way to detect AC voltage without making contact with live electrical lines. It is able to locate AC voltage from 5 to 600 volts, and when it does it will light and chirp to indicate a presence of voltage. Use it to detect voltage in everything from outlets and light bulb sockets to appliances and power tools. The Sniff-It 2 can detect power line voltages: 120, 220, 480 & 600 VAC and control voltages: 12 & 24 VAC. Powered by one A23 battery (included).
