This is a passive type video balun to allow you to send video signals through Cat5 cable and requires no power. The transmission distance is about 2300 feet, but with multiplexers, quads and DVR's you should restrict the distance to 650 feet. The twisted pair wires are not required to be stripped before installation with the new toolless design. All of our Baluns are tested 100% for reliability and durability to guarantee your signal integrity.
 
Note: These baluns are sold individually but must be used in pairs.
